Lab report: results

We will now look at the results section of a lab report. This section accurately shows your findings. It is fairly common that your results appear in the form of figures and tables, so let’s have a look at some examples.
Example 1
Task 6: Look at Figure 2 from the results section and the sentence that describes it. What legend would you expect to find below the figure? Have a think, then complete the task below.
Figure 2 shows the deflection of the bungee cord relative to the applied load.
